About Us

The Nineteenth annual Hunter’s Garden Marlborough Festival runs from the
8th November to the 11th November 2012

We are a charitable organisation, with a committee of six members and two part-time paid employees. Work on the event starts soon after the conclusion of the prior year's event. There are many different sections to organise for the five day festival.

During the week of Hunter's Garden Marlborough many volunteers turn out to help make the whole event run as smoothly as possible. These people are invaluable to us and without them it would be very difficult to offer our guests the friendly service we pride ourselves on. We would like to thank all of these people for their many hours they give us.

The cost of coach travel is included in your ticket price as is the cost of morning, afternoon teas and lunch. Wine (although usually included is a glass) will be an extra cost. Each tour can comprises of up to six  coaches and seats are not allocated. If you wish to travel in a group, simply queue together. We strongly recommend you be early as fitting a group onto one bus may be difficult late in the queue, particularly if the tour is heavily booked. Wherever possible only one coach will visit a garden at a time. Our volunteers will be there to help you on to your coach and our Tour Guides will accompany  you on your  tour.
Wear suitable shoes and dress comfortably including a sun hat. Bring something warm just in case (we had snow in St Arnaud this 2011) and it can rain even in Marlborough, so be prepared with a waterproof jacket or umbrella.
