Culinary Herbs in Pots and Window Boxes
 Freda returns this year with a workshop titled "Growing Culinary
Herbs in Pots and Window Boxes". At the workshop you will
discover the selection of herbs available and the advantages
of growing them in pots.
You will be amazed at the versatility of growing herbs in
pots not only for their practical use but impact as garden
decorations. Learn how to be successful with your herbs,
potting up, feeding, watering and pruning.
Freda is a presenter and demonstrator for the Canterbury
Horticultural Society month "All About Gardening" meetings,
as well as Tour Manager. She has just returned from a tour
to England, Channel Islands and Paris. Currently Freda is
down scaling from a large country open garden to a town garden
~an exciting challenge!!
Friday's workshop will be a demonstration together with
a powerpoint presentation.
Saturday will be a hands on workshop and held on site at
the Islington Gardens. Herbs and potting mix will be supplied
and you will be able to take home your own creations.
