KIMBERLEY JUDD
Floral Scents and Senses
Kimberley's "Fleurs Team", Jane, Margaret and Gill celebrated
their 5th year working together in April.
A key approach to our flower design is to reflect the environment
in which our flowers are to be placed, symbolise a moment
or convey a message that is often easier 'sensed' than expressed
through words; joy, deep sorrow, love ~emotion which often
lack words powerful enough to express the depth of feeling
experienced ~can be 'sensed' through the beauty of flowers.
The type of flower used, its form and size, colour and texture,
and its scent. All are combined in a harmonious composition
to express a message or feeling, which is conveyed through
our senses to trigger an emotional response to the flowers
we see before us.
With this in mind we have created the Floral Scents and
Senses' workshop.
The hands on workshop will consist:-
'Hope of Spring' ~Spring Scented Table
'Intimate Moment' ~Dinner for 2 Table Arrangement
'Fun, Sun, Summer' ~Festive Kiwi Lunch Setting
This workshop is designed with fun and experimentation in
mind. It can be done by anyone at any level of ability. Demonstrations
will be given and with a workshop numbering 20 participants,
with a 1/5 ratio of personnel to participants. Remember all
materials are included and you will be able to take home
your own creation.
